Your information, clearly explained
Terms & Conditions
These terms are the ground rules for using LifeDrop. They apply to the website, app, relationship map, postcards, messaging features, and any content you create or receive through the service.
Be thoughtful with other people’s information, share only content you have the right to use, review AI-generated work, and do not use LifeDrop to harm, deceive, or spam anyone.
1. Your agreement with LifeDrop
By accessing or using LifeDrop, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. “LifeDrop,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the operator of the LifeDrop service.
2. Using LifeDrop
LifeDrop helps people remember relationships, create and exchange digital postcards, organise personal memories, and receive optional reminders or service messages. Features may differ by device, location, account status, or availability.
You must use LifeDrop lawfully and be able to enter into this agreement where you live. If you use LifeDrop on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it to these Terms.
3. Accounts and access
Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details and postcard access codes secure, and tell us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law says otherwise.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, videos, writing, drawings, prompts, memories, links, and other material you submit to LifeDrop. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to use and share that content.
You give LifeDrop a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, process, transmit, and display your content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and improve the service; create the results you request; and deliver or display content to the people you choose. This licence ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except where continued retention is technically or legally necessary.
6. AI-generated and assisted content
LifeDrop may use AI to turn prompts, memories, photos, videos, or sketches into text, images, suggestions, and postcard designs. Results may be inaccurate, incomplete, similar to other results, or not appropriate for your intended use. You are responsible for reviewing generated content and deciding whether to save or share it.
Do not use AI features to violate another person’s rights, mislead people about a real person, or create unlawful or harmful material. LifeDrop does not promise that generated content is unique or eligible for intellectual-property protection.
7. Service messages and reminders
If you opt in, LifeDrop may send transactional messages about postcards, account activity, relationship reminders, or actions you request. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of purchase.
For SMS in the United States, reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Delivery depends on carriers and messaging providers, so messages may be delayed or undelivered.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use LifeDrop to:
- Break the law or infringe privacy, intellectual-property, publicity, or other rights.
- Harass, threaten, exploit, deceive, impersonate, or harm another person.
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or messages to someone who has opted out.
- Upload malware or interfere with, probe, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass the service’s security or access controls, except where law expressly permits it.
- Use automated means that place an unreasonable load on LifeDrop or resell the service without permission.
We may remove content or restrict access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect people, secure LifeDrop, or comply with law.
9. LifeDrop materials
LifeDrop and its licensors own the service, software, design, branding, and materials we provide, excluding your content. These Terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of LifeDrop or its technology.
10. Third-party services
LifeDrop may rely on or link to third-party services, including hosting, AI, authentication, messaging, media, or social platforms. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply to your use of those services. LifeDrop is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
11. Availability and responsibility
LifeDrop is provided on an “as available” basis. We work to keep it useful and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent storage, error-free AI results, or delivery of every postcard or message. Keep copies of content you cannot afford to lose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LifeDrop is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
12. Ending use and changes
You may stop using LifeDrop at any time. We may suspend or end access when reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated violations, risk to the service or others, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service.
We may update these Terms as LifeDrop changes. We will update the date at the top and provide additional notice when a change is material and notice is required. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Contact
For questions about these Terms, contact LifeDrop through the contact method available in the app or on the LifeDrop website. For SMS help in the United States, reply HELP.
